What happened to this cult pizzeria ?! Price-performance ratio close to the cheek, customer service could be improved. Either they can't do it better or they don't want to - or both. Perhaps they no longer need customer service and customer satisfaction. Ordered several pizzas 3 times within a year, always given a chance, each time disappointed and sometimes even angry. Each time, standard pizzas were too spicy that they could hardly be eaten; several times they arrived half cold and tasted far too much like cardboard. The low point a few months ago: ordered by phone, waited two (!) Hours despite two interim calls, forgotten (!) (They even admitted). When the pizza came it was said to have been remade shortly before, but it tasted like it was at least an hour old. Very annoyed not to have simply canceled / rejected the order. The other day someone tampered with the phone because they called a ridiculous four minutes after the end of the (already very early) possible order time - the kitchen has already closed, you have to call at least 90 minutes in advance before the shop closes. Audibly reluctantly delivered (in the quality mentioned above). All of this is already too much of a bad thing. In addition, there are steep prices (including an above-average minimum order value), which are not even remotely justified for the taste and service offered. Fun fact: Offer a delivery service, but say on the phone that you cannot deliver on the evening of the order because no one from the staff with a driver's license would be there that evening. It was definitely the last order. There are plenty of other pizzerias in the area that obviously have more passion and quality for their job and their customers. How can you hit an institution and brand like that against the wall? You have to do it first. So far, "da Lino" still lives from the good name it once acquired and its cult status for decades, the quality of the pizzas made you accept higher prices yourself. This quality feature no longer exists; the main reason to still order there is no longer applicable. What a shame. Times are changing. EDIT, response to response from January 23, 2020: @pizzadalino, please no baseless assumptions and obvious excuses. And like to disarm a little linguistically. My criticism was a completely normal one: constructive, clear, not unfriendly formulated - with substance, based on several experiences over a long period of time. As a company, you should and must be able to cope with criticism - especially since the facts offer little or no reason to look to customers for blame or neglect or to upset them one more time - also online. At some point the patience, the courtesy and the blind eye of customers is used up. The viewpoint does not have to excuse or justify constructive criticism. In fact, you might be grateful when you get detailed review. You could target that in order to improve things. All the best for the future - so that you can now survive the consequences of the pandemic.
As always. Simply lino. Unbeatable.
Super delicious pizza, have been eating there once a month for almost 20 years and it's always great! Employees and boss are very, very friendly
Super tasty pizza, have been eating there for almost 20 years and it's always great! Come especially from the Taunus to eat there
Delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices
Very tasty pizza, I often ordered it home. I can recommend it
Great Italian restaurant with good Aperol Spritz and a few Vegan options. Great Vegan pizza bread pizza with good toppings. Nice outdoor seating in summer months.
I ate the pizza dedicated to my father and I must say that the seasoning was like when the Pizzeria was under our management .... back in 1972 to 1980 .... congratulations!
Pizza tastes like it used to, incomparably delicious ... Super Service
Visits Da Lino for years, great team, outstanding food, cozy atmosphere ΓΌner
Medium Salami pizza to take out for 8 Eur. Am I missing something?!
After 36 years, I still like to eat the best pizza for myself personally and deliver it too
Pizza from the new owner OK. But the service and the whole team is a horror. Magpies about customers, customers are not really wanted. All customers are insulted when they come to the store in Polish. Man has to make the store. It is too brave. A high on the old owner.
Unfortunately visually and taste the worst pizza I have ever ordered. All 3 pizzas were dry and too long in the oven. You could not even tell what surface they had. Tasty just as terrible and dry ... I'm totally disappointed and that for 26 β¬! Absolute failure
Pizza is not as good as the previous owner. The new boss has no idea how to deal with customers. Leaves you in the shop even though pizza is done behind him. Probably has better things to do than serving his customers. So do not surprise me that the shop is not as busy as it used to be. The new benches outside the door will not help either.
Was earlier better ... anything about the cheese is different π© and with this opinion I am not alone.
Absolutely best pizza ... thin floor and delicious.
Sometimes the food is top-notch, as it was at the previous owner and sometimes only average. Apparently dependent on the day
Very bad. Pasta tasted nothing except oregano and were only lukewarm. Unfriendly staff. It insisted that you tip! Prices are extremely overpriced. For a small pizza 8 euros. Outrageous.
Too expensive! β¬ 11.80 for a pizza with ham, olives and artichokes are just too expensive. The "real" Italian on the Frankfurter StraΓe costs half.
Nice Mediterranean ambience. Very friendly service. Pizza was delicious and crispy!
The pizza is as good as ever. When the previous owner of the store was always full, now it is hardly really frequented, after the new owner has vigorously turned on the price screw. Ten euros and more for a pizza are more than sporty for Kelkheimer conditions. If the pizzas were two euros cheaper, the store - and the cashier - again full.
